How important is QR?

I took my DAT back in August and QR was my worst section. I knew that this section was not as important as the others but have seen people say applications are automatically thrown out if there is a score less than a 17. I'm now a little worried.

Does anyone know if this is true? I actually talked to the assistant dean of my top choice school and she said my scores were great but I am still really paranoid. Will this section hurt me? I am not applying until next summer.

SOME schools have a cutoff at 17 but I feel that many schools will overlook it because well it's not an important score AND because your AA is good. Assuming you have a decent gap, you should be fine! Just be sure to call your other top schools to see if they have a strict cutoff or not!
