the only parts im not good at is the trigonometry stuff, idk whether i should memorize the unit circle. are the DAT mainly word problems or a mix of some easy algebra stuff also

It's a mix of everything!
I would say memorizing the unit circle is a must. there are only 3 different values.. (root3/2, 1/2 and root2/2), and plug and chug into corresponding angles. You can't easily give those points away.
What sort of study material are you using to study for it?
I would recommend Crack the Dat Math (10 tests edition) cuz you can work on your timing, although it's a bit easier than the actual DAT.

I thought it was intense, especially coming at the end when you're fading. It's all about the pounce. If you have no idea how to start the problem, don't even try.

If you understand Destroyer pretty solid, you'll know how to pounce.

Chad's trig video is decent. It's free.

It's a bit of everything really. I could do the Top Score tests easily, but I struggled on the real test. As was mentioned, you can't just know how to do the work, you have to be able to immediately recognize what is asked and have an efficient way of solving it. My methods just happened to not be efficient.

I concur with reely989. I didn't quite study for QR because I figured if I have a really strong SAT math background, then I could wing it and do fine. Turns out I got a 20. It was much harder than expected and definitely harder than Topscore. I wouldn't fret with QR. Focus more on the sciences because they are the most important pieces of the puzzle

The best way that you can study for the QR section is practice. The hardest part for me was that it was at the very end when you're beginning to get tired of all of the testing. Do example questions and fill in the blanks of what you need to memorize. That's the only way to really figure out what you need to study as well as get used to pumping out answers for that section in a timely manner.

Dude you are loosing your sense of humor due to hardcore studying for DAT. I think you are ready for it.. :soexcited:
You will be fine bro..
i dont watch dragon ball z so i didn't know wth that 9000 is until i googled it. not everybody watch DBZ u know lol

Just finished my Dat today and my thought on QR is that it is quite aggressively paced. I finished my last question with about 20 seconds left on the clock. You definitely need to know your basic arithmetics very well through practice. A number of the questions often had a shorter more efficient way of doing it and I don't see it possible to finish this section without employing those shortcuts. Good luck.
