ive never took the actual DAT

my question is... is it like SAT in high school?

i know you pick a school and take DAT there,

but is it like all papers with scantrons and they provide you periodic table and formulas??

I haven't taken it yet either but you don't pick a school to take it at. You have to get a dentpin from the ada and then you use that to register to take the DAT they send you another number that you give the prometric testing center were you plan to take the DAT.

Its all done on a computer no scantrons and no formulas but you do get a periodic table. No calculator except for the QR section.

If I am wrong about something some one correct me.

You have to register online and sign up to take it at one of the prometric centers around where you live.

For the actual test you sit in cubicles with your own computer and noise blocking headphones that are rather uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It's all electronic and all you get are 2 small sheets of lamented graph paper that you can write on using dry erase markers that they provide for you. There is no scantron to use , and you get your scores at the end of your testing session.

I actually paid $360 for registration. Was there an increase in the cost to take the DATs?
