How is it possible to graduate ontime when you have a late start by 8 weeks into M3 ?

I am looking to delay my Step 1 and then start late into M3 by 8 weeks. But people say it is still possible to graduate intime with your class. How is that possible?

Depends on how your M3/M4 schedules are set up. Here, options are:

1. Don't take the allowed 'vacation' for interviews
2. We have a two-week buffer between when classes normally end and graduation; take a 2 week rotation then
3. Walk across the stage with everyone, receive your diploma holder with a blank sheet of paper, continue to take rotations through May/June.

It happens to a few people every year. Usually a combination of the options are used.

Thanks for your help!

My school has a couple of online rotations for situations like this, which effectively allows you to take two electives at once, or combine an elective with vacation since there is no physical attendance requirement.
