It is unclear to me how NAVLE is graded, the IVCA website FAQ on this topic says:
"NAVLE scores are expressed on a scale that ranges from 200 to 800, with the minimum passing score set at 425. The NAVLE uses criterion-referenced passing score and is not graded on a curve. This means that each candidate's performance is measured against a set standard, rather than the performance of other candidates."
What I want to know is how many questions do I have to get right to pass? As I understand it there are 360 questions, 60 of which somehow don't count. So does that mean I have to get 425/800 (aka 53%) of the 300 questions correct to pass (that would be 159).
Hoping someone can set me straight on this topic as it seems like knowing how many of the actual questions I have to get right to pass is useful information for someone who will be taking the test. Thank you!
