Hello, everyone.

I'm planing to take some classes over the summer at a community college,

I was wondering, how does AADSAS calcualte you GPA. Do they go by the

transcript, or do they average everything that you take. B/c in my school

the transfer credits do not effect the GPA.

thanx

??

they take your grades from your transcript and average them, lol. it's as simple as that. it doesn't matter if your university counts the gpa or not, AADSAS WILL.

i do not recommend taking the pre-reqs at a community college, as it will look bad. not sure if this is the situation, but it's something to take into account.

do a search, there are plenty of threads on GPA calculations.

randomly...no joke

and A+ is different than an A meaning you're at a disadvantage if your school doesn't give A+'s. YEAH!!!

Only if you are applying to a school that takes +/- grades into consideration. AADAS (sp) provides the dental schools with gpa calculations both factoring in +/- and not factoring in +/-.

actually that depends, a +/- system hurts those with grades 3.3-4.0 and 2.3-2.7, while helping those with grades 2.7-3.3. If ur school has a +/- with A+'s, then grades 3.85 and above in a non +/- system would be increased significantly instead of going down, while while the rest of the gpas following to the non A+ +/- system.
