How is UWORLD going for you?

UWORLD is such a funny monster. One block I would score 70-75% and I would gain confidence. The next block would destroy me and I would score 50%+. So far my overall has been teetering above and below the 60% boundary. Just going to keep churning and taking notes on my wrong answers and reading the correct answers.

Very much the same experience. There are plenty of bread and butter questions but also plenty of off the wall questions as well. 60% is ~50th percentile of UWORLD sample testers. Who knows who they are composed of.

I bounced between 92 percent (yay!) and 52 (boo!) so it definitely depended on the block. Overall I was low-mid 70s and hit 252

I did Uworld as random blocks only (OB/GYN being my weakest test subject by far, and the probably the reason for my 50ish scores). Its also what kept me out of the 260+ range (my OB/GYN score was, well, definitely crossing the grey "average" bar). So UWorld is pretty legit, in my opinion, as a guestimator of Step Success for Step 2.

I am just trying to learn as I do questions, along with reading secrets (which I already read one pass). Using it as a learning tool versus worrying how it predicts my Step 2.... yet. I plan to take a UWSA in a couple of weeks to see how I am doing, then maybe monitor my percentages.

UW- 69%, weakest subjects based on percentile rank was derm, poisoning and respiratory... derm with me getting 50% correct ranked in the 15th percentile and poisoning with a similar score. respiratory is a bit higher in terms of percent correct just lower on the percentile, guess people really kill resp on uw. Provided that I hadn't covered derm and still have yet to cover poisoning, best source thus far has been step up to medicine if time is provided, it hits very high yield pts on next best step and initial step of management. got 3 more weeks before the exam glck everyone

I just reset UWorld after finishing it at 60% cumulative all timed, 44q, random. This time I am focusing on the explanations and concepts. So I am doing it tutor mode, 44q, random. I don't know if I will finish it by the 9th, but I will certainly do as much as I can.

oh good, im so relieved. i just saw on another thread that you got a 250~ on a practice NBME while getting 80% on Uworld for the 2nd time; im on the same boat as you, 70~% 1st time around throughout 3rd year and currently 83% (2nd pass) and taking exam soon. I was thinking that maybe I should be in the 90s or something given that I know these questions, but then again I havent seen these questions in months. I also recently finished USMLERx with 80% cummulative (only did questions once). Anyone else here using USMLERx?

Yeah, I got a 256 on NMBE 2. I was 70% my first time through, too! I think you should be OK, 83% is rocking it. What percentile is that?!? I haven't done USMLERX, nor do I know anything about it. If you really want to know where you're at you can always take an NMBE or do a UWorld SA. I'm doing another this weekend. What other resources besides UWorld are you using?

did UWSA a month ago 261 and NBME 4 two weeks ago 258; taking test this weekend. i did usmlerx, usmleworld, step up to step 2 & step up to medicine. i'm done spending money on this thing so im just gonna hope for the best at this point and hope that downward trend plateaus.

Currently banging away at my 2nd pass at UWorld, with a cumulative of 85% so far. I doubt I will finish it, but I will certainly try. Doing it in tutor mode, pretending that UWorld is now my "teacher", giving me a vignette and then a mini lecture. Reading Step Up to Step 2 on the side. Going to cram Secrets next week. Hopefully this will earn me more points.
