Is it considered late to apply to MD programs at the moment?

I have a list of about 20 schools and I was wondering if I should just send in my application, (waiting on 3/6 letters of recommendation).

Will it hurt my application to hold off another week or max 2?

It's not too late, but it's no longer early. Get your stuff in ASAP.

People have gotten in before with October submissions, but they had superb applications and likely would have had more options had they applied earlier.
September completion (including secondaries), which is what you're aiming for, may yield some interviews if you have a strong application.

That depends, has your amcas been verified? if no you'll probably be considered late because by the time you turn in your secondaries it will be september/october.

Yup. We're all late at this point. It won't hurt to wait any longer.

depends on your stats, if you have 4.0 and a 43, its almost never too late. however if you scores aren't very competitive, then thats a different story.
