How late is too late to apply?

I might have to withdraw from Orgo 2 this semester. I was planning on applying when apps opened in June. If I withdraw and take it over the summer that would push my app back until I finish the class early August. Is that too late? Can I apply with pending pre reqs? I'm so lost and need some guidance.
