How late is too late?

i want to apply to DO schools, but currently i am completely bogged down by allopathic school secondaries. I will not be able to submit my application until late september. or even early oct.
MY gpa is 3.3
My mcat is a 25
I have had some unusual experiences and have tons of clinical research and leadership experience.
will it be too late by end of sept or by oct for DO schools??

I think your pushing it. Are you using DO as a backup?

yes it is a back up. but i have alot of respect for DOs as i have worked around a couple. but why am i pushing it?? dont alot of people apply to MD and DO programs simultaneously?

also, if i get accepted to a DO school in california, i would choose it over an unranked MD school in another state.
