Hi.

I will be writing the MCAT sometime in July (im guessing mid july or possibly late July)

This means that I will be applying at the end of August (I will be submitting application beforehand)

How late will I be and will I be at a huge disadvantage?

***I am an international student who does NOT have american citizenship.... so a huge minus there... Help would be greatly appreciated!

PS: GPA: 3.94, MCAT: hopefully >=mid 30's, great EC's (long term volunteering), and 3 yr research (hopefully paper submitted in 2 months).

Taking an MCAT in July is not the worst thing in the world. Not a disadvantage if you expect to end up with a score in the mid 30s and a 3.9 gpa.

Thanks for the reply! At around what date will an applicant be considered late? I am just worried that my application won't get verified on time.

Also, as an INTERNATIONAL student, is there ANY chance of getting in to relatively good school if I get low 30's when I apply late August?

Thanks again!

Applying in august is technically late, but as the person above said, the people who generally have success applying this late are applicants with your gpa and projected mcat. Considering you have great ECs helps greatly too. As for your low-30 mcat question...that's a really tough question. It's gonna be a tough road for you either way, so just focus on getting as high as you can on mcat. If you get low 30s, don't stress. It will only make you go crazy through the application process.
