How likely would I fail Step 1?

Hey guys, I'm hoping to get some advice on my current situation. Is it really difficult to pass Step 1 if you've failed two classes? I'm really doubting my abilities right now. Generally, if people have failed classes, do most of them fail Step 1 as well?

There is no point dwelling on the past. The truth is that all of us have fallen at one point, it is not the falling that defines us but rather how quickly we stand back up learning from our mistakes. As said, there is nothing you can do about the classes you have failed. Ask yourself how bad do you really want this as your career and make your decision for how hard you are willing to work on your answer. Sometimes we lose sight of the goal and we just need a reminder. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it and Step 1 is no exception to that. Keep your hopes up, I wish you well.

You will not know until you start studying and take an NBME practice exam.

A passing score on Step 1 is 188.The national average is 221. The most competitive specialties have average scores of around 240.So,once you reach the target you will be qualified in it.

yeaaah.... those stats are from 1985. Passing step 1 score is 192 and the national average currently sits at 227 and will most likely go up to 228 at the end of this year.
