I have passed the NERB and will be graduating from UMB dental on may 15th. I will be entering private practice and was wondering how long it takes to get the maryland licence after graduation so I can get started right away.

Wow I was rly confused with what you were trying to ask, I think aphistis (myself also) thought you wanted to get a M.D. degree, but you meant Maryland. I think you could find that out from the ADA website, are you also trying to get a J.D. degree also?

if you passed your NERB than it's just a matter of getting the paper work ready, I would assume MD is similiar to VA in terms of processing mine took about 2weeks, the best thing is to call them now and tell them your projected starting date so they can tell you when to apply to be safe.
