Another question regarding the application process. After I send the application into AADSAS (say if I send it in next week June 20-26), how long will I actually hear back from schools? I was wondering about when the schools would send supplemental applications and how long you are required to return the secondary apps or invite you for interviews. I am planning on going abroad August and am worried that by my being away, it may hinder my application process? I am trying to decide if i should go away or not... so anyone know about this? Thanks.

best case scenario, assuming they didn't lose anything, and they kept record of your LORs, and also assuming your atleast an average applicant with an average GPA....... 6 to 10 weeks buddy...best of luck...

from BU...possibly never

Still no interview invite or rejection letter and I applied back in June 2002 and they did cash my check!

Oh well

depends on the school, I've heard some people say schools take forever to get back to you, however last thursday my friend got his interview invite from one of the schools we applied to, which would be 1 week from when infosource says they sent out our apps to schools. that seems pretty fast to me. if aadsas sent it out on the 10 and we heard back on the 17, figure 4 business days for postal time between aadsas and school and school and his house, that would mean it spent exactly one day at the school before they responded. that is pretty dang fast. so again, i am sure it depends on the school.
