Hey everyone I have a quick question. I know the typical length of time that the MCAT score you receive is good is good for 3 years before applying.

How many years are prereq courses good for?

I believe it's school-dependent. I can tell you that, of the schools I applied to, none had an issue with my physics and gen chem classes having been taken last century.

I don't believe pre-reqs "expire" like MCAT scores. A person in my CHEM class took Bio 7 years ago, and she's applying this year, and has had no problems with any schools (emailed ahead of time to make sure everything was good).

That's what I was thinking. Thanks a lot guys.

Thanks. I started college in 2004 and finished in 2009. So a few prereqs are passing that 7 years mark and I was panic for a little while.
