I interviewed on the first interview day, 9/13, and got my letter in the mail on 9/24. So less than two weeks I would imagine for most people interviewing September-October.
Just out of curiousity, what makes KCUMB your first choice? Where else did you apply?

Damn, I interview on the 26 also. That means I could be getting a letter any day now. What does it look like? Is it a large legal size or just a simple, small envelope. Thick, think? Let me hear I am getting agita just thinking about it.

its actually thin, which threw me off at first
but the letter began with Congratualtions! which rocked 👍nrddct said:when I interviewed on the 28th, the guy that gave us the quiz told us that they accepted EVERYONE from their last interview round.
Nice, so theoretically I am in?

As long as you didn't bomb your interview or piss off any admin. during the day, then yeah I'd say you're in...USArmyDoc said:Nice, so theoretically I am in?
Then you're in! Way to go!USArmyDoc said:Well, if they accepted EVERYONE from the last round it sounds positive. I definitely did not bomb my interview. The interview went very well.

I wasn't told that. They said that if I had any questions to email them. When did you interview?
I wouldn't worry about it. They probably send out both an e-mail and an official letter... In the beginning it's probably just snail mail- You'll be fine!nrddct said:my interviewers said they would notify me through email? I hope thats not a bad sign.![]()
Different interviewers will tell you different things... it's ok.
thanks, I'm so anxious!!
One more thing, KCUMB requires everyone to take a genetics course. I haven't taken one and didn't mention this at my interview. Is this something I should bring up or should wait for the adcoms decision? Or should I tell them I am gonna take it in the summer which is what I'll do if I get accepted.

Well, if you need Genetics they will probably say "We accept you for KCUMB's Class of 2010. Your acceptance is contingent on completion of your Bachelor's Degree, including all required courses yet to be taken, i.e. genetics, biochem, etc. etc."nrddct said:thanks, I'm so anxious!!

If they don't mention anything in the letter, then you may get off scott-free! I would doubt this however; plan on taking it sometime, you'll surely need it.
I doubt that your acceptance would be affected by not having a particular course yet, especially if you are still in your undergrad! Good luck...

Well, I have heard lots of good things about the school and it seems like people are genuinely happy there. It's my first choice for a few reasons, mostly because I have lots of family in Missouri and because both me and my wife want to attend next year. Can't wait for the 17th... the interviews sound really reasonable.
