How long can I push back an interview?

I got an interview offer today and couldn't accept it because I already had another scheduled. They said I could have another date, but at this rate I'm going to be missing 3 discussion sections for my Friday class in a row and I really hate missing class (I know, I'm a loser). How bad would it be to ask a school to postpone an interview from Sept 29 until Oct 16 (when I have fall break)? Does it make you sound uninterested?

That won't be a problem. Dental schools know that you have a busy schedule and they're willing to accomodate you as best as they can. Just know that pushing your interview date back TOO far can lessen your chances of getting in.
