How long did it take to improve on verbal practice passages?

I finished two weeks of studying so far and still scoring 6's...

this doesn't directly answer your question:
it's probably your strategy then. i think i got my highest scores when i least expected it.

what i do now is focus on understanding the passage and go back when i have to.. but this gets me bad scores haha.

my peak performance in verbal was not focusing on details, except to enforce the mental mapping of the passage..

so yeah. basically what i'm trying to say is that it might help to switch strategies. practice is the best time to find the one for you ... so they say..
