How long do PCs take to reply to your interview acceptance

I have 2 interviews so far. The first program emailed me an invite, I replied within an hour, and the PC replied to confirm the date about 45 min later. I was pretty impressed with how quickly it all went down.

My second invite came in 2 days ago. I replied within an hour once again...now it's been 2 days and I haven't heard back from the PC to confirm a date for my interview.

I know it seems nit picky, but that first experience led me to believe that these guys get back to you quick, so I was wondering if I should follow up again on that second invite. Is it normal for them to take a few days?

Yes, it is normal. It can take up to a week in some cases. I'd give them a few more days.

If it's already been a couple of days, I'd go ahead and call to get a verbal confirmation of your date. I can't tell you how easy it is for emails to scroll of the page and not get seen this time of year. Be pleasant and diplomatic when you call, so the coordinator doesn't get defensive. Most of us understand erring on the side of caution since this is very high stakes for applicants.
