So apparently my main alma mater (I have transcripts from 3 schools) completely screwed the pooch and sent AACOMAS the wrong transcript which they discovered today, 3 months after it was marked received and 1 month after they began processing my completed app. The school took responsibility for the error and is sending a corrected transcript by mail (they won't send electronically) so it should arrive at AACOMAS sometime middle of next week.

For any of you who have had similar issues, how long did this set your verification back? I was expecting to be verified today or early next week but now I am freaking out that I will be kicked to the back of the pile and have to wait another month or more🙁

How wrong was it? If it was someone else's, it could take longer, but if they could verify everything but a couple classes, it shouldn't be too long.

They dont kick you to the back. U'll be first in line once they receive the correct transcript.

My understanding is that they were doing some sort of a computer system switch so two systems were needed to generate the transcript. In my case only one system was used and basically the transcript which was sent only included my credit hours and was missing other information, I'm not sure if it was totally unusable but I'm assuming they will need to verify the entire transcript again just to be sure.

FWIW my side of it should all be correct, I had an old transcript I used to fill out the app which wasn't missing any info.

Thats a relief, hopefully it all gets resolved next week then, I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for secondaries.

Yeah, something transcript related happened to me as well. You keep your spot in line, but just make sure to keep an open communication channel with the AACOMAS reps, you should be fine.
