How long do you have to decide?

I'm still waiting and hoping to get that acceptance after the New Year. (Fingers crossed emoticon) My question to you lucky dogs who have yours already, how long do they give you to decide? Is there something like a three week deadline or whatever where you have to tell them or they retract the acceptance?

It is different for every school but most typically we have until JAN 15th(45 days). Then I have heard that the second round of acceptances go out on Jan 15th and those guys get 30 days... Then the third round gets 15 days. I am not perfectly sure on that. Some schools have other limitations.

That's basically the deal. SUNY SB and Buffalo give you til Dec 31, but their deposit is refundable until March. Some other schools may do this, but I don't know for sure.
