How long does a paper transcript take for AAOCMAS to receive?

Getting ready to start my AACOMS application. One of the colleges I went to only sends paper transcripts. I was wondering how many days it would take for AACOMAS to receive these paper transcripts? Also, should I send my application once all transcripts have been fully received?

I don't think you can submit your AACOMAS until you have all your transcripts uploaded. Also, if one school tells you that they want the transcripts mailed, you would mail it to that school, not to AACOMAS!

You can submit your primary when you are ready, but AACOMAS won’t process it until they have your transcripts.

You also need to log in to your MCAT portal to release your MCAT scores to AACOMAS, see the instructions on the AACOM app for how to do that.

Yes, I will meet with my college on Monday, but I was wondering how many days I should expect AACOMAS to receive my transcript. I read online that it can take 4-6 weeks, which got me worried. My goal is not to be late for AACOMS.

You can submit your primary when you are ready, but AACOMAS won’t process it until they have your transcripts.

I'll also send my MCAT score to AACOMAS. Once I get my college to mail the paper transcript, should I expect a 4-6 week wait till they get my transcript in? I'm not too sure how long it'll take but I know it's longer than electronic. I don't want to be too late, thank you!!!

Look, @chillstill first things first, ask your college (or colleges) to send the transcript. You have no control over how long it takes after that.
Focus on the parts you can control.

At this point, AACOMAS has been open for three months. You can't change that. Trust the process and trust your work. You got this.

I was verified a few months ago. They just say it takes that long. I was verified in three days. Granted I was verified after the may/June bottleneck but you will move quickly now. The only bummer is that you have to mail in your transcript. It’s 2025 why is your school not sending digital transcripts?
