As the title states.

Before I get a ton of responses saying how variable everybody's application is, I'll disclaimer this by saying you did 4 years med school, no breaks, no red flags you have to explain, decent amount of research, etc.

Just wondering how long it takes most to fill this thing out. Maybe I should state not including time for a personal statement. Thanks in advance.

Not including PS and you have a CV in hand to refer to? An hour or 2. If it takes you more than 4-6 hours, you're doing it wrong.

I really don't remember it as being a long process. If you're prepared and have a CV with all your info to go off, maybe two hours. If you're disorganized and have to look everything up, it could take significantly longer. It's really just filling in relevant blanks. You also don't want obvious mistakes or typos,so factor in some time for review, as once it's submitted you can't edit it.

Good to hear. I've put off ERAS for a week or so to wrap up some studying. I do have a CV on hand that is basically 100% what I'll be using.

In terms of the PS, I've got a first draft, but I'm not very happy with it at all. I was thinking about revising it and sending it off to several individuals to give their thoughts on it while I wrap up some other things. Advisable?

You're kidding right? 15 minutes after you saved your first draft you should have emailed it to your dean/advisor/dept chair. Of course you should have somebody look at it.

In that case, off it goes. Thanks.

P.S. Sent you a PM.
