I just received my GPA calculation today from AADSAS.

Does anyone know from experience how long it actually takes the schools to receive this printout once AADSAS has given you your GPA calculation?

Is it possible for us to receive a copy of the printout that they send to schools?

I was told by AADSAS that this printout looks different than what we see on the screen. Who knows what other types of errors are on that final printout....

Also, for the "Transcripts" dropdown, what is it supposed to say under "Academic Status." That column is blank on mine. Is it supposed to say "verified"?

Unless it says "Printout Mailed Month-xx-2008" next to each of your schools under the "Designations" section, printouts of your app have not been sent to schools yet.

Just because your GPA has been calculated, doesn't necessarily mean printouts have been sent to schools.

And the "Academic Status" slot for the "Transcripts" dropdown on my app was also blank.

it usually takes about 2 weeks from the date of GPA calculation for the printout to be sent. And as far as I know, you cannot get a copy of that prinout. You can just prinout the info from all the sections as your own personal copy.

It says on the website that it takes about 2 weeks for them to mail the printouts, but i just wanted to know if that's really true!

I also wondered if we could get the actual printout because I was told that the printout looks different than the electronic copy that we have. A rep. was reading off some of my coursework from the supposed "final copy" and it was different than what I had entered....very frustrating. I kept telling her that what she was reading was not what I had entered and she wouldn't listen.

So, I got scared and wouldn't be surprised if there are other discrepancies between the electronic copy we have and what they actually send out.

It would shock me if there were discrepancies. I'm sure all they do is import the text to a different template and generate some printer-friendly rendition with your application reproduced verbatim.

Otherwise they'd be liable for big bucks if errors were found out...

that GPA calculation may take more than 4weeks (4~8weeks)

In fact, it was done in 4days.

Thus, I hope they can be mailed out soon!! 👍
