hey guys,

just wondering. i've sent in my application and my gpa got verified already. just wondering how long it's going to take for the adcoms to send out a printout of the application to the schools? is it typically 4-8 weeks for people who submitted early? when you say that the first batch is sent out june 1st or so, what does that mean?

okay. good luck to all.👍

i read in their newsletter about a new system aadsas is implementing this year. as soon as your gpa is verified, schools are able to access your application online thru their aadsas portal. mine for example was verified on the 18th, so under "designations" it says that schools have had access to it since the 18th. then i recently added one more school early wednesday morning, so there's a separate section below the list of my original schools where it shows "available online as of may 30" (to the last school i added).

aadsas still mails printouts in batches (sorry, don't know when the first ones go out). but they used to include a disk with electronic versions of people's files with each mailing. now, i think they just mail out the hardcopies and let schools access the electronic copies online.

adcoms dont send out the apps., they receive them

No later than eight (8) weeks after you submit your application with payment. I think it depends on AADSAS workload. If you submit earlier than the peak of submissions yours will likely go out in less than 8 weeks. The closer you get to the peak of submissions the longer it will take AADSAS to snail your application out. Either way, no longer than eight weeks. The joy of the early application is faster processing time and (hoepefully) an earlier interview.

While your application can be viewed online by the d-schools, I think Nova is the only place that actually gives applicants feedback to indicate that the school looked at the application online. Almost everywhere else seems to wait for the hardcopy of the application in snail mail.

OoOoO thanks guys! i guess i'll just wait..fingers crossed!! oh btw. i haven't sent in my secondary fees in yet. is it important to send them out now?

when i called aadsas on tuesday, the customer service representative said "at this point we have no idea when we're sending the first batch out. sometime in june" so yea...june as in tomorrow or june in a few weeks. who knows? 😕
