how long does it take for AMCAS to verify transcript (sent in early july)?

So I won't have my spring quarter grades until July 1-3ish.

For those that submitted their transcripts early July, how long did it take for AMCAS to receive your transcripts?

For me - transcripts received June 9, processed July 7. I think by the early July submissions it was saying up to around 6 weeks... and I'm sure the volume will keep increasing this year.

submitted july 4, processed august 1st.

When you send anything to amcas, it takes them about a week to post it into the online acct. so you may be complete around the 10th, and then processed 4 weeks later.

So do you guys then think it is okay to apply before my spring quarter grades are out?

I'm worried about applying without my spring grades because I wonder about whether there are there schools out there that require applicants to have 90 semester units when they apply? (I'm slightly short of 90 semester units without my spring grades)
