How long does it take for paper LOE to be updated?

My com letter writer wanted to send the packet by mail instead of electronic submission so she sent it out last Monday from MA to MA. It should have gotten there but online the received date isn't updated which I found weird because the transcript was updated a day after it was sent out.
The blank received date is making me a bit nervous. Everything else is done.
Anyone else had a experience of them updating received date a little later than they actually receive it?

This is a question that was similar to what I had. So, I called AADSAS and asked them directly. Here's the issue:

When you first entered your committee evaluator in the evaluator's section of AADSAS, did you select that they were going to upload/submit their letter electronically? If so, then AADSAS will not accept the committee letter by mail. This is their words, not mine.

If this is the case, then you may never see it updated in your AADSAS portal. I'd call AADSAS and tell them the situation. See what they say, perhaps they can find your letter and accept the mailed copy.

Either way, call them and explain.

I have selected the committee letter to be submitted in a hard copy (paper), but it has been 4 business days but AADSAS did not upload the letter.

I have a similar issue...I originally selected electronic but the file size was apparently too big. I then changed it to paper before I e-submitted and was told by my school that my composite packet was mailed out on 6/28 but there is still no update on aadsas. Even though I changed from electronic to paper it was still before I submitted so will I still have an issue? It's been 2 1/2 weeks...

Thanks. I never selected electronic option. I am going to call and ask what's up soon.
