I was trying to find information about this but couldn't, so sorry if there is another thread like this. I just wanted to know, in general, how long does it take to get loans (if it's something that can be done in a day, or in a week, etc). Also, I'm on a waitlist, and I'm not ranked so I have no clue about my chances (think they're pretty slim, since it's June already) but I heard people get accepted until pretty close to when school starts. How would the tuition payment work then? What if we don't get the loans before school starts?

Thanks!

Did you already fill your fafsa?
No I haven't, because I wasn't accepted anywhere else and am on the waitlist for one school. I don't think my chances are that great but I figured that this info would be useful either way.

Regardless you still have to fill up your fafsa, because that's how the Financial Aid office will calculate your loan and grant amounts, if you wait till you get accepted it might take a long time and you might accumilate late fees for tuition.

You don't wait until you get accepted to fill out the fafsa! DO IT NOW.
