How long does it take to get the ERAS Token once you pay the fee?

Do you get the ERAS Token instantly once you pay for it? or does it take a few days to a few weeks to get it?

Good luck Russianjoo. The whole eras process with sending in transcripts, LOR's etc takes a little bit of time so if you can get a prematch thats great, but if you can't or aren't sure don't delay eras too long.

I think it's unlikely that a program will offer you a prematch without seeing your medical school transcript and official USMLE transcript - all of which come through ERAS. IIRC, you are an IMG, which means that all your ERAS stuff has to go through an incredibly slow office. I'd consider the $$ a drop in the bucket and get started.

ECFMG can provide the information to any program you pre-match at. It does not have to go through ERAS.

thank you for your reply.. i knew there are ways to get official transcripts other than through ERAS, i'll be contacting ECFMG in due time... and my school gladly sends out official transcripts.. and since i did my 3rd year core rotations at this hospital they have all my 3rd year grades and comments from attendings and LORs at that hospital which would take less than 5min to get to the office.
