How long do my DAT scores last? Im planning on taking the DAT this summer, but not applying for another 2 years. Will my DAT scores last that long or will I have to retake them?

I believe they are good for 3 years

Check with the schools that you're going to apply... Some 2 years, some 3 years...

i would suggest you put off the DAT until you are closer to the app process for two reasons..,

1) Some schools require it be taken in the past 2 years

2) The advanced bio (that i'm assuming you will be taking in the future) is highly beneficial to both the bio and rc sections.. if you get a good prep program/book that should be sufficient to "refresh" your memory on chem if you already finished ochem

to each their own, but thats my opinion.

I agree with the post above, however play your cards right. In my case, I took the DAT 5 years ago right after I finished orgo and a biochemistry course, and did well in those sections. Since then I got a masters and reapplied and had to retake the DAT. I did well in bio and the rest, but my orgo section suffered because it is a difficult section to re-learn. My opinion is to weigh when you take the test with regards to the mastery you have of each subject. Some sections are easier to study for than others.

You should be fine if you take it now and have your application start in the summer of 2011.
