How long for processing (BUMAMS GT SMP)?

I was just wondering about how long processing of the application took for either the GT SMP or BU MAMS for people who have already heard back. In particular, I know GT should have received all of my transcripts and LOR's but they still say not received when I pull up my application. I was thinking about e-mailing them but I thought I'd see what other people's experience had been first. Also, from Michelle Hall it seems like BU is pretty good about making a decision quickly once your file was complete, but I'm curious if that's actually accurate. Any information would be greatly appreciated at the moment, since I'm feeling like the most impatient person in the world right now. 🙂

This probably is not going to be very helpful, but I applied to both and this is my experience so far:

GT: Submitted application 3/5, Application complete (according to website) 3/22, called Cabbiness and was told she had still not received my application 3/27, talked to Dr. Meyers who forwarded my application status question to Amy Richards who said I am currently under review 4/5. Still have not heard anything since then...

BU: Submitted application 3/27, E-mail from Michelle Hall stating I'm complete today 4/11.

It is difficult not to pick up the phone everyday and call them about my status, but I feel like I've bugged them enough already that anymore can't be a good thing. Anyway, hopefully this lets you know that it takes awhile, at least for me. Good luck.

I applied to BUMS on the 9th of March but I had trouble with my letters of recommendation. Soooooo after I hunted down the teacher who wrote the missing one and had her send it in, mine is complete. I also got an email today saying it is complete and i will be notified "by letter" when the committee makes their final decision. i know the first few people admitted were notified via email though. So I dont know if that was supposed to hint at anything

Application complete: 3/1
Accepted: 3/30

both via email, and later an official acceptance packet came via snail mail

Still waiting for G'town SMP

yea... I'm so pissed right now about the whole BU admissions... My undergrad HPAC is totally messed up and I hope they change the committee around soon... I would be in a totally different situation if they hadn't fouled up my application, but hopefully I still will be accepted to the program...

P.S. - I'm wasted right now
