How long does it take, post-interview, to hear from SLU? I interviewed there on 12/3 and haven't heard anything. I'm really anxious cuz it was the only interview I've had so far. I thought SLU was pretty good about getting back to you pretty quickly. Do you they send you a snail mail letter? Thanks!!

They send stuff by snail mail, but you might try sending an email asking what is going on with your file. I heard in about one month.

i interviewed middle of november...maybe the 19th?....and i still haven't heard nada. pretty sloooooooooooooooooooooowwwww...

I interviewed there 12/10 and my acceptance letter was dated 12/27. It seems like they review them at random or something!!!!🙄

I also interviewed on 12/10 and received the acceptance 1/23 (dated 1/16). Seems like they meet twice a month. good luck SunnyBunny7!

i interviewed Jan 21st and got the acceptance dated Feb 14th. Best valentines day present i coulda gotten. good luck

it's been 3 months since i interviewed and my file still hasn't been reviewed... i used to call in once in awhile to check on my app and they say that "your file will be reviewed in 1-2 weeks--that was 2 months ago. it's so long that it's starting to be funny. talk about efficiency.....

i interviwed at end of jan and 3 weeks later got waitlisted, by the sounds of things they do things quite randomly.. who knows!

I interviewed 12/22 and heard back about 5 weeks later. I wonder if it has to do with how efficient your interviewers are about getting the evaluations done.

I don't think it's really random. My interviewer said that after interviews, the committee rates people from 1-5 (i'm assuming each member rates, and they average it. Otherwise there wouldn't be much distinction. Or something like that, anyway). Then they give out however many acceptances they're going to give out to the people with the highest ranking. So you could hear within a couple of weeks, or it could be months. It just depends on where you are on the list.

I don't know how they decide the people who will be waitlisted. But unless you've been waitlisted or rejected, you could get a letter at any time. It just totally depends on when you get to the top of the list.
