How long should a letter of interest be?

Would you guys recommend 1 page or only 1 paragraph?

As a threshold matter, letters of interest are largely unnecessary--unless a particular school solicits them or you believe that you may be yield protected at a school and want to show that you would actually attend if accepted. I say that because your application and secondary show that you are interested. If you nevertheless feel compelled to write one, I would keep it short, simple and straightforward (not necessarily one paragraph, but I would get to the point). Good luck.

Thanks. It’s for a school that REALLY urges its applicants to send one

As my old biochemistry professor used to put at the top of each exam, "Brevity is the soul of wit, do not convince me you are witless".

Keep it short and sweet.

Dear med school,

I'm very interested in your institution because of x, y, z. I hope to interview/attend. Thank you for your consideration
