How long to hear back from MCPHS?

I mailed my supplemental application and e-submitted my pharmCAS application Wednesday. For those of you who have gotten interviews at MCPHS, how long did it take after they received your application to get the interview invite?

You are applying to Worcester right? because applying for Boston (as a transfer student at least) there is no supps right?

I am applying to Worcester.
I don't believe there are supps for Boston but I could be wrong.

I received an email from MCPHS Boston Admission Office inviting me to register for the online chat. I am applying to both campuses and I believe the chat is for both campuses. I think anyone can register for the online chat.

I checked on pharmcas info about school and noticed that Boston doesn't require supplemental so I just need to submit pharmcas and that's it, right? a little bit worried because it's very strange for me that they don't require any additional.

Yes, my mistake, I only applied to the Boston campus. I got the school mixed up with Nova Southeastern in which I've applied to both campuses.

yes, just got an "update" email from Boston saying there's no supplemental. just submit your pharmcas and that's it. i also got the email about the online chat for oct 15

if you do get into MCPHS-BOSTON as a transfer, how many years till your PharmD? I am assuming if you get in, ur getting into the professional phase P-1.

I have contacted someone in the admissions office who I though was very helpful. He said as of yesterday my application was reviewed and should expect a decision in the mail within the next week. Problem is there have been alot of ppl applying there b/c no pcat required. I have actually been to the school and like it very much..... anyway just thought I share that....

It seems like no one will hear from either campus until late October/early November. Admissions is so swamped. It's tough waiting though!!

You still have 4 years of professional phase. You won't have to go through the first 2 years of pre-pharmacy in the 6 year program.

I got an interview invitation from Worcester in the mail on Friday (10/17). I sent in my PharmCAS and Supplimental at the end of August. I scheduled my interview for 10/29 at 9am. Anyone else?!

Hi! I'm from Rhode Island, so I'm right next door. The letter itself isn't dated, and I threw out the envelope. Sorry! Also, I know a couple people that sent in their PharmCAS a week or so later than me, so they haven't heard anything yet. It's very first-come, first-serve, so you could be in the next batch. October 24th wasn't an option for me for an interview...October 29th was the earliest they gave me, so they're filling up already. But, don't worry! I noticed in the 2007 thread that people interviewed in January and February and still got in.

yes once you e-submit to pharmcas your done for the boston school

I remembered from last year that MCPHS-Boston required a HS transcript for those who haven't received a BA/BS at the time of applying. It's kind of different from most schools.

My interview is for the Worcester Campus.
According to the paper tha mcphs mailed to me, with my interview invite, my pre-pharm is a 3.6 and math/science is 3.4

I was told by pharmcas a few days ago that you ARE ALLOWED to apply to multiple campuses now . The reason for that is so many people were calling in to change the campus after submitting their application. Can anyone confirm this ?

The best idea is to call them to confirm this. Other than that, we can only select one campus, based on the info on PharmCAS.

Like I said, you can get a more accurate answer if you give the office a call. Either way, I had only applied to Worcester and am not planning to apply to any other MCPHS campus.

I submitted my app to the Worcester campus around the beginning of Nov, and I got an invite middle of Dec, and scheduled it for middle of Jan.

So, I went, froze my face off, had the interview. Anyone know how long they take in making a decision? The faculty member I interviewed with told me it could take "as little as 4 days." Anyone get accepted yet?

I applied to the Manchester campus and got a letter in the mail 4 days later saying to call to schedule my interview. Manchester has only 1/3 or so the slots of Worcester and probably less apicants too, anyone for Manchester?

They started reviewing applications last monday? I disagree with that statement, because I got an email interview invite to the boston campus on 12/17 and my interview is on 1/30. At the time I was scheduling my interview, they had two interview dates of 1/23 and 1/30.
