Professor assigned 150+ pages of reading material in one week, exam coming up. I read through all of it and I have brain fog, and can't concentrate. I have an A in the class but due to snow days, etc. the professor started skipping chapters and told us to read it on our own, and started speeding and skip through everything to catch up with the syllabus. Exam is coming up soon. Any ideas on how to stop burn out? It feels like there is a block in my head. I can't concentrate/study and remember things effectively well, and it's stressing me out. I took yesterday off, and came back to it today. It was a little better but then I had to stop because I couldn't concentrate again and was afraid I would have another relapse of this crap, so I decided to take today off too.

Any advice?

Work for 25 minutes take 5 minute break. Work for 25 minutes take a 5 minute break. Caffeine, water, food. You got this mate. After 4 25 minute sessions take a break

Well there's your problem..

I'm actually overcoming burnout. Actually a year of exhaustion finally exploding during the most crucial time of my undergraduate career. Instead of working yourself to exhaustion like I did, try working/studying in small bursts. You must also have a day to unwind.

Find a way to get an adrenaline rush during studying. It makes everything exciting and fun. It's like being high on crazy drugs but also really productive.
