Can anyone tell me how long you studied for the DAT? I would be interested to know. Would less than 2 months of study suffice?

It depends on how much you know and how fast you can learn.
Generally 6 weeks is the average.

I have studied for about 1 month. (10-12 hrs per day). My dat is on SAT, I will let you know how I did. 😀

i studied for about 10 weeks, but i had summer physics in there for 5 of them. so i had no physics for 2.5 weeks before physics and 2.5 weeks before the test. it was interesting.

Based on your academic ability I'd say exactly 21 days will suffice.

One month: 8-12 hours each on weekdays and 4ish hours total on weekends.

I'd say anything between 2-3 months, depending on your science background. I think the most important thing is to begin studying, and as you go on you'll start figuring out how much time you really need to be 100% prepared for the exam.

I did some slacker studying (maybe an hr/day) for a couple months, and then did some serious studying (8-10 hr/day) for a couple weeks. Like everyone else said, it depends on your science background and ability to read and absorb the material quickly. Good luck!😀
