Once your file is complete at a given school, meaning they have everything from you that they require, how long did it take for people to hear back on whether or not they got an interview?

I would think it would depend entirely on the school. But I'm still pretty new to this stuff--I am however willing to bet that someone with more knowledge than me will chime in and offer some good information! 🙂

True. It depends on both the school and the application. There would be a minimum turnaround time at any given point in the season. This would be the least amount of time it could take for a school to get all of your materials, review them, and invite you. This would be at least a week or two, in most cases. More realistically, one should anticipate waiting at least a month.

There are, of course, the great application exceptions that get interviews within a few days of being complete and those applicants who were basically strung along until July and then rejected.

Depends on when the ADCOM meets at that particular school and how many apps they have. I'd say between two weeks and a month if you're competitive. If you're only moderately competitive they may put your app on the back burner for a while to see if you're willing to pursue them or who else applies.

It depends... but from my experience it took about 1-3 weeks after my secondary.. VCOM was the fastest to respond... ccom was a little slower.

I submitted NSU's secondary app on 8/5 and was complete shortly there after. I just received an interview invite today, so thats a pretty long time.

Other schools have been a lot quicker, so i guess it all depends. Dont give up hope tho if its been a long time, the school could just be really slow.
