I'm signed up for two earth science classes next semester and both are 2 units. I'm also signed up for Biochem (4 units) and 2 psych classes (6 units combined). 14 units total but only 1 hardcore science class. My GPA is okay (3.6/3.7) and I'm gonna be preparing for the MCAT next semester.

Does it look bad that 10 out of 14 of my units are either non-science, low unit, or known to be really easy?

I don't think its a bad idea to take 2 units of Earth Science. All that matters is that you keep up a high gpa and do extremely well on the MCAT! good luck studying 👍

I doubt it matters. Think of it as a 4 unit earth science class. As long as you've proved yourself in other semesters to be able to take on a rigorous "hardcore science load" it shouldn't matter. It's not gonna hurt to take it easy a semester here n there.
