I am sorry moderators since there may likely be a similar question posted but my search yielded threads mainly involving the length of time it take to receive results. My question involves scoring and how many canbe missed to still pass the exa. the California BOP website explains using a "scaling" systm to calculate scores and determine pass or fail results. I guess I'm not quite understanding what this means as it translates to a 75 needed to pass. From what I understand there are a total of 90 question on exam f which 15 are not graded soout of the 75 remaining questions that they do grade, do we need to get all 75 correct to pass? In this case you'd need 100% of the graded question to pass and I have read that you don't evenneed to necessarily get 75% to pass so I'm getting a lot f conflicting information and hope someone can clarify this for me if possible. I took the exam today and got at least 10 questions wrong. Should I expect to fail the exam and start to prepare for the retake or is there still hope? I hope someone can out of the goodness of their heart be willing to explain to me in detail how this works and roughly how many questions can I miss and still have a chance to pass. thanks. Joojookat.
