How many classes do/did you take in MS1/2 at a time?

A lot of schools vary, so at a given block or time how many classes are lectured on simultaneously on average? I heard some schools do 1 or 2 classes at a time then switch to other classes during the semester?

We take "one" class at a time, 8 - 10 weeks each, 4hrs/day. But they hide extra stuff in there. For anatomy we alternated gross anatomy, radiology, histology, and embryology throughout the week. For biochem, it's genetics.

1st year we did 4-5 classes/semester + 1 neuro block at the end of the year
2nd year we did 4 classes at a time, 3-6wks each block
