How many classes is too many while studying for DAT?

I am trying to figure out what the perfect amount of classes to take would be while studying for DAT.

I am a post-bac and only 6 months ago decided on dental school. I still need to take a decent amount of units to continue to enhance my GPA, but should I be full time? Part time?

I would love some advice!!

Even though i did not do a post-bac program, i still tried to study while taking a full course load in college, but it didnt work out too well. My classes were too demanding and i couldnt devote the time i wanted to (and needed to) to the DAT. Thats why i waited until spring semester was over so that i could study full time for the DATs and it worked out well. If you wanted to do both at the same time, my advice would be part time? But also, you could have better time management/organizational skills than i do and could pull off a full load and DAT study at the same time. Anyway, good luck!

I studied for the DAT for about a month while working 40+ hrs/week. It pretty much meant no social life for that month, but I am overall happy with the results. I think it also depends on how long its been since you have taken intro biol, gen chem, and org chem.
