Here are my thoughts on this subject. I know you are in the process of repairing your GPA and you don't want to screw things up any further. BUT, if you truly have a bad GPA, you are going to need to prove to the adcoms that you have changed. You will need to prove to them that you can handle a dental school courseload. So, if you just minimize the amount of science courses so you can improve your GPA, you are not doing anything to prove yourself. If you cannot handle, let's say 12 to 15 credits of science courses on top other courses, then you might want to re-consider d-school. D-school is 20 to 25 credits per semester of science courses. Not difficult material - just bombarded with a ton of info.
