How many interviews are you going on?

Probably about 10....give or take 1 or 2.

Offered 5...interviewing at all of them

Offered 16, planning on interviewing at 15. 6 down, 9 to go.

I applied last year and was offered 22 interviews. I think I originally accepted like twelve and then went on 8. Seriously guys, 20 interviews - even 16 is way to many to go on. You are going to be really burned out at the end of the process and would not be able to remember things that make certain programs unique as they will al mesh together. Please don't burn yourselves out. You will all do great in this process.

Hey guys,

Im on the road interviewing. I went to NY and hated the city could not see myself living there and decided to cancel my other 4 interviews there last week. I spent the week in VA with a friend. Now im feeling guilty as hell and worried that i wont match. Im down to 10 interviews. Do you guys think 10 is enough to match? Ive got about 3 that are just ok programs and have a history of not filling.

I must have a personality disorder then, offered a lot, going to 17!
It gets very tiring, I think 12 is a good number. But you know, some are out in cali, so thats like a vacation, plus I got to kick it with friends that live all over the place, so it was more of an extended vaction than anything else.

offered 9, went on 6. Probably about the right amount for me.

I went on 15 but I was coming out of internal medicine and wasn't sure I would get a warm reception from anesthesiology. I should have realized that getting all the invites was a pretty good sign I was competitive.

My attitude went pretty quickly from :scared: to

Still was a pretty good hunk of change especially since I stayed in the same city, but the trips to San Fran, Stanford, and the east coast were definitely pseudo-vacation like.
