I disagree I have seven so far and I still think that its a crapshoot.

3.9, 22 and your applying to 17 places? with those numbers i would have applied to the 2 AZ, 2 CA, case and michigan. you may have specific reasons for adding a few more, but 17 is rediculous. not only are apps expensive, but flying out will cost about $500/interview. i'm not saying that i know you, but dont be someone that says "i could have gone to your school if i wanted to but mine has..."

The initial results of this poll is really making me feel like real loser. I'm surprised that the people with zero interviews are such a small minority.

If I knew I was going to get a on the DAT I probably wouldn't of applied to as many but now hopefully i will get a choice as to where I can go. I turned in my apps before I took the DAT. If I do get 17 interviews I can't afford to go to all of them so I will schedule some after Dec 1st. My brother is in his third year applying, so I thought I'd better apply to a lot so that I wouldn't have to wait 3 years.

I got seven and I dont care what anybody thinks. I applied to 20 this time because I did not get in last year. The money I spent was worth it, and I am sure I may even get 1 or 2 more.... Everybody has their strategy, we all want to get in so don't criticize what other people do.

My brother and I both have seven interviews (no joke, though he didn't vote bc he isn't down with SDN) he has a 19aa 21ts with two 16s in QR and RC (June 2007) and a gpa of 3.3 (business major). No bragging just telling the stats. Check out predents for those guys with 10+ interviews. They usually have ridiculous DAT scores, ivy school 4.0 gpa, son of the ADA director, and diamond encrusted teeth.
