How many interviews is enough???
Started by bigcavity
it has been established on this forum that 4 interviews should result in one acceptance... so you might expect expect 1.75..... 🙂
I understand your feelings because if one did not get interviews or got one and is not accepted it is all about THEM- those adcom people who were not bright enough to appreciate you... but if one had 7 interviews and did not get accepted then it is all about YOU... the truth about "king being naked" finally comes out...
realistically speaking it is so variable there is no statistics for it.... you are obviously attractive candidate for many schools...

Yea, if you had solid interviews, we decided that 4 pre-december interviews should result in at least one December acceptanceit has been established on this forum that 4 interviews should result in one acceptance... so you might expect expect 1.75..... 🙂

Uh oh haha I have only had 3 pre-Dec 1st interviews, but I have 3 post-Dec. 1st interviews! lol
Haha, me too. I have 3 pre and 1 post. So my prediction isn't biased.
I'm thinking of canceling my Pittsburgh interview. The only school that I would not choose over Pitt is Nova. What do you guys think?
Based on your reasoning I think that's a good plan. You will save your money and their time. You have had a lot of interviews already and should have no problem gaining acceptance to a school you prefer.

How many interviews have you had? I had to cancel my an interview for another school (my first choice) and felt pretty bad about it. Guess I'm getting greedy?

yeah i've had a few so far and i decided to postpone my BU and Pitt interviews to post-december. i really don't think its worth the traveling ESPECIALLY if the formula about 4 interviews = (at least) 1 acceptance is true 😛
I will give my bias vote of at least four pre-december interviews being enough to secure at least 1 invite.
just one. period.
I like your stylejust one. period.

Not a fan of Nova?
You guys get that feeling that you could've done better after your interview? I know I could've done better, darn it.
Yeah, me too. Just thinking of some things I could have said differently, things I could have said, things I shouldn't have said, etc. I would love to have immediate feedback so I know were to improve, but I know I probably did just fine and I'm sure you did too.👍
