How many interviews to expect between now (December) and February?

Hello everyone,

I would like to hear people's input about this topic. I'm currently in a TY program in Philadelphia and applying to family medicine programs this cycle. I haven't heard from any programs since the middle of October. I was just wondering how many FM programs would reach out to applicants to grant them an interview. Is it just me or do programs have their rank list already made? Thanks, everyone!

According to the 2018 PD survey for FM:

29% of interviews are offered before Oct 1st
41% of interviews are offered in Oct
17% of interviews are offered in Nov
9% of interviews are offered in Dec
4% of interviews are offered after Jan 1st

make sure you send a letter of interest email to the program
that will help you secure an interview in case of cancellation
