Hi... I'm not in this forum normally, but I'm asking cuz my best friend's a pre-pharm. How often do schools conduct interviews during their admission process? I'm a pre-med, and I know that most med schools ask for interviews (after they approve your secondary). Do most pharm schools also ask for interviews? She's going to apply this winter... to schools in IA, IL, and CA. Thanks for your help, I really appreciated it!😀

The pharmacy schools in California require an interview; interviews start in October and end in March. Your friend needs to apply now, not wait until Winter.

Thanks for that info! I see that UCSF and UCSD have deadlines in November. She will be taking the PCAT this fall... will that have any effect?

AFAIK, UCSF and UCSD don't require the PCAT, so I don't think it'll have any effect.
