How many LORs do you usually get in the application process? Sorry if this has been discussed numerous times. 🙂

Usually 3-5 total. 2 from science professors and 1 from a non-science professor. Those are usually required. Most schools accept up to 5, so extra letters can come from employers, doctors you shadowed, and other people who know you well and are qualified. No parents or friends writing letters .
