Also what is "ORM" that people keep posting?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is the opposite of URM or underrepresented in medicine in terms of race (Mexican, African American). So if somebody is ORM they are probably white or Indian or something like that. I could've mixed those around, though...

Pretty much in my signature but

1. 11 primaries
2. 6 IIs (5 attended, 1 declined)
3. 3 acceptances, 2 WL
4. 512 MCAT, 3.7 GPA

What was your mcat and gpa like? Also, did apply to top-tier, mid-tier etc?
Applied to 2 top 10s, like 4-5 lower tier, rest mid.

31 MCAT, 3.7x-3.8x+ sGPA, 3.5x cGPA, ORM but had pretty strong (though not super diverse) ECs that led to strong LORs.

I applied MD and DO. Like 12 and 6 respectively. I got invited to 2 MD programs and 4 DO schools. I went to 4 total interviews. I had a 3.90 GPA and a 508 MCAT that was somewhat balanced. I got one acceptance. I had several months of research experience and volunteer work but not a lot of clinical experience. I had schools tell me that the amount I shadowed was the reason I didn’t get accepted. (I reached out to several physicians in Tulsa and most of them couldn’t let pre-meds shadow them)

Hello all, I'm curious as to how many schools I should apply to and was wondering how people who have come before me have fared in their AMCAS application cycle(s). Please include:
1. The number of primaries you submitted
2. The number of interviews invites (IIs) you got
3. The number of schools you got accepted to
4. Your MCAT score(s) and GPA when applying.

Graduated recently from NYU.. submitted 32 primaries (you probably won't need to do this many unless you're also a CA applicant), got 11 II's (went to 8), got 5 acceptances... 3.9 and a 36 (roughly 518 on the new mcat)

35 primaries (ugh), 11 interview invites, 9 interviews attended, 6 acceptances.

3.4 (ugh) and 520

25 primaries, 9 IIs, attended 5, accepted 4.

sGPA 3.3, cGPA 3.5, MCAT 505

Do you mind if I has how many hours you have?
