How many months after completing the secondary application should the silence be treated as likely to be a "soft reject"?

Is 2 months a good amount of time? How about 3 months?

Depends on the school.

There are some schools (such as USC and Tulane) where the probability of getting an II at this point is very low, close to zero.

OTOH are other schools who just started secondaries. Seton Hall just started sending them out on Friday.

Sad to see USC is also on a very early schedule; however, I'm a firm believer of the "No news is good news" mantra, so NEVER GIVING UP!

Anyways, I'm hopeful I get in somewhere. Let's get this folks, we can do it!

Invites will still go out in Jan, Feb, occasionally March. When you completed secondary is almost wholly irrelevant

Genuine question: If this is true, why is applying early stressed so strongly?
